Continuing Professional Development, or CPD, is strongly encouraged by the College and professional institutions alike to maintain and enhance professionalism and standards. Towards this end, we are pleased to announce that we will support the successful “CPD” Group set up by Richard Walker some years ago. It’s purpose is to provide both a practice and learning forum to help students and practitioners to consolidate and continue their learning. The Group physically meets regularly on the first Wednesday of each month (except August and sometimes Christmas/New Year), and usually there is a presentation followed by discussion or exercises. RAPID PHOBIA RELIEF – this Tuesday eve 14 July The weekend before last I was visiting a good friend over towards Bristol, and she was showing me her lovely country cottage. We were in the garden, with a couple who had joined us for the evening. Jenny says how she loves gardening but gets put off because she is really nervous about frogs and toads.
